THE FOUNDER
A 2020 graduate of the National School of Decorative Arts, Ziyue Chen founded Ylen in 2024 in Paris, France.
As the founder of ylen, she has always been interested in the relationship between the spiritual world of humans and the material world—nature and other forms of matter.
The brand was born from a question that often comes up:
“How does the human being reveal his inner dimension in the way he interacts and resonates with the world?”
These interactions can leave a trace—for example, in the form of writing—or be embodied in a resonance: with stars, rivers, sounds, words, light. Ylen's jewelry is the tangible form of this.

Ylen's name
The name Ylen was born from the fusion of French neutral pronouns
y, le and en.
In French, these pronouns are often used to refer to previously mentioned places, objects, things, people, or entire sentences (stories).
Like these pronouns, jewelry subtly and precisely expresses the thoughts and feelings of the person who wears it.
They not only convey information, but also convey emotions, just like language.
